How do I know what's in stock?

Each dress is unique and there is only one of each item. Once an item has been purchased it will be marked as 'sold' and will no longer be availabl. It will remain marked as 'sold' for 2 weeks and will then be removed from the site. This allows time for the item to be returned and re-added to the shop.

How often are new dresses added to the shop?

We are continually sourcing items and there will be updates on a weekly basis. To hear about new stock before it arrives in the shop, please sign up to the mailing list or/and visit our myspace profile www.myspace.com/littleblackvintagedress.

In what condition are the dresses?

Vintage clothing is pre-worn, unless otherwise stated and it is to be expected that items will have natural wear and flaws. Even unworn vintage items may have deteriorated from their original condition. We only sell high quality items, which are carefully checked and  any flaws will be detailed on the item description.

How can I be sure the dress will fit?

Nobody can ever be 100% sure that an item purchased online will fit perfectly. Original sizes listed in the dresses are ignored as sizes are so different nowadays. Each dress is individually sized and detailed measurements are given on each listing. The best thing you can do is get the tape measure out, and check the sizes given against your own measurements, rather than go by the dress size provided. The actual dress size is intended purely as a guide. If the dress doesn't fit once recieved, you may return the item. Please follow the return instructions.

How do I purchase a dress?

It's easy. Simply create an account by clicking the sign up box at the top of the page. Once you have found a dress you love and checked all the measurements, click on 'buy' and follow the instructions. All payments are processed through Paypal Pro. You don't need a Paypal account to pay. Just enter your card details and the payment will be processed automatically by Paypal. If you prefer, and you have a Paypal account, you can just to pay with your Paypal balance. We do not hold any of your payment details. All payments are processed securely by Paypal Pro.

When will I recieve my order?

Inland items will be recieved with 2 - 3 working days by recorded delivery. We aim for internatiol items to be recieved within 5 - 7 working days.

What if I am unhappy with the dress?

If for any reason you are unhappy with the dress once it arrives, please email us at returns@littleblackvintagedress.com and let us know. Items must be returned within 7 days, in their original condition with any tags/packaging still intact.
